Three temperatures. Increasing depth.

From 1,000 to 1,220°C, GE300 Utah gradually darkens: metallic blue gains density until it reaches near-black nuances. The black grog remains integrated within the body, reinforcing the unity of the surface.

Studio notes

Preparations and firing precautions · GE300

IMP denotes an ultrafine, flour-like grog that is almost imperceptible to the touch. It feels close to a smooth clay body without actually being one, and greatly reduces drying shrinkage.

CHF and CHM denote fine and medium grog respectively. Their particle sizes are detailed in the technical data sheet.

Characteristics are indicative. Always run your own forming, drying, firing and glaze-fit tests before production, and consult the safety data sheet.
